Updated risk species list for non-salmonid finfish imported into Australia
Effective from 30 July 2021The Department of Agriculture, Water and the Environment has updated the risk species imported into Australia for human consumption and baitfish use. Further information is available in Biosecurity advice notice 2021 and Industry advice notice .
The updated finfish risk species list for bait/fish food can be found in the appendices of the ‘Bony fish and cephalopods for bait or fish food’ BICON case.
Who does this notice affect:
Importers of non-salmonid marine finfish, associated industry participants and retailers.
