Chrysoporthe hosts for use as nursery stock

Effective from 2 July 2019

Ceratocystis host genera (which includes Angophora spp., Eucalyptus spp. and Syzygium spp.) imported for nursery stock in a form other than tissue culture require active testing by culturing (or equivalent) for species of Ceratocystis. The Corymbia genus (also a Ceratocystis host) requires a review prior to import.

This applies to imports from all countries.

Import conditions for tissue culture of the listed genera do not include any additional measures for Ceratocystis.

Who does this notice affect:
Importers of Angophora spp., Corymbia spp., Eucalyptus spp. and Syzygium spp. for use as nursery stock, Assessment Services Group and Inspection Services Group.
