Changes

The department has made changes to the import conditions for manure.

Manufactured products containing or made from manure:

• Import conditions have been aligned to the Biosecurity (Conditionally Non prohibited Goods) Determination 2021
• An import permit is required for all goods containing or made from manure

Alternative BICON commodity cases:

• Links to other commodity cases that may be applicable to the goods have been included.

End use conditions:

• End use conditions have been clarified

Manure that is not part of a manufactured product:

• Animal Biosecurity Branch has not developed import conditions for this specific commodity and situation and as such the Department of Agriculture, Water and the Environment cannot facilitate your import.
