Changes

The Department of Agriculture, Water and the Environment has updated the risk species list for various non-salmonid marine finfish species imported into Australia for human consumption and baitfish use. Further information is available in Biosecurity advice notice 2021 and Industry advice notice .

The updated finfish risk species list for human consumption can be found in the appendices of the BICON case ‘Finfish (excluding Salmonid) for human consumption”.

Who does this notice affect:
Importers of non-salmonid marine finfish, associated industry participants and retailers.
