Changes

This notice is to advise departmental staff that additional packaging and cartons inspections needs to be undertaken for kiwifruits arriving from Italy as part of a seasonal Brown Marmorated Stink Bug (BMSB) measure.

The BMSB carton inspection will occur between the dates of 14th November 2019 and 30th May 2020. This is in addition to the standard fresh produce inspection and will increase inspection times.
