Minor changes to cooked and uncooked pig meat import conditions

Effective from 17 July 2021

Import conditions for the standard and non-standard import permit for cooked pig meat from Denmark, have been updated to remove the ‘uncooked’ requirement. The requirement has been removed as the import conditions are for cooked pig meat only.

In addition, the department’s definition of ‘pig meat’ has been added as an information notice to the cooked and uncooked import conditions for pig meat.

Who does this notice affect:
Importers of cooked and uncooked pig meat for human consumption
