List: Permitted live fish species suitable for import for laboratory research
Effective 25 August 2023 to 23 February 2024Only fish included in the Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry permitted species list (fish for laboratory research) are eligible for importation into Australian territory from approved countries.
Importers are advised to check that this list is current at the time of importation. Only fish appearing on this list on the day of import will be eligible for entry into Australian territory.
