Information: Chilled fruit and/or vegetable pulps, purees and pastes

Pulps, purees and pastes are processed fruit and vegetable products that may contain permitted and/or restricted seed and multiple fruit or vegetable ingredients. Processing of these products may include cooking, simmering, boiling, sieving, straining, filtering, blending, thickening etc. Pulps, purees and pastes must contain no discrete fruit segments, pieces or arils. These products do not need to be shelf stable and may require refrigeration. These products do not include fresh (unprocessed) fruit or vegetable flesh which may be referred to as ‘pulp’.
