Infectious agents include any of the following:

(a)  a virus;

(b)  a prion;

(c)  a plasmid;

(d)  a viroid;

(e)  genetic material coding for an infectious agent.

Microorganism

Microorganism includes any of the following:

(a)  a single‑celled organism (whether an animal or a plant);

(b)  a bacterium;

(c)  a protozoan;

(d)  a fungus;

(e)  a plant pathogen.
