Removal of the department approved labs requirement for germination testing
Effective from 29 October 2018The department has amended the import conditions for seeds and grains requiring offshore germination testing by accepting a germination test result from any ISTA lab accredited to conduct germination testing, and not restricting the labs to the department approved labs only.

- Sunflower kernel or seed for human consumption
- Bean seed for human consumption
- Gulong tribute millet for human consumption
- Sesame seed for human consumption
- Rice for human consumption or processing
- Whole dried peas for human consumption
- Soybeans (excluding frozen) for human consumption
- Linseed for human consumption
- Popping corn for human consumption
- Whole lentils for human consumption
- Hemp seed and hemp products
