New commodity case for fresh fruit for human consumption requiring further assessment now available

Effective from 18 July 2018

Regional officers, importers and brokers are advised that a commodity case for importing fresh fruit for human consumption, requiring further assessment is now available on the Biosecurity Import Conditions database (BICON).

Fresh fruit species associated with this case, require further risk assessment through the import proposal process, before entry. Currently there are no import conditions for these goods. If these goods are imported they will be exported or disposed.

Please note the list is not exhaustive and may change as fresh fruit is assessed by the relevant branch.
