Goods Determination changes to take effect 25 July 2018

This notice applies to importers of plant, animal and biological goods, customs brokers and regional officers.
Background
The Biosecurity (Prohibited and Conditionally Non-Prohibited Goods) Determination 2016 is currently being amended. As a result, from 25 July 2018 certain commodities will no longer require an import permit when the alternative conditions are met.
