Import conditions for fresh apricots and interspecific stone fruit hybrids from United States of America.

Regional officers, importers and brokers are advised that conditions for importing fresh apricot and stone fruit hybrids for human consumption from approved Californian counties are now available on the Biosecurity Import Conditions database (BICON).

It is the importer’s responsibility to identify and ensure it has complied with all requirements of any other regulatory and advisory bodies prior to and after importation.

Each consignment must be accompanied by a valid import permit and an official government phytosanitary certificate.

Importers are reminded that an import permit must be obtained prior to importation.
