The department assessed and approved Agrigen Pty Ltd as a laboratory for conducting on-arrival batch testing for viruses of concern in imported raw frozen prawns (with the head and shell removed, but not highly processed). Agrigen Pty Ltd is available for prawn importers on 5 May 2016 as a laboratory to provide testing services to meet Australia’s import biosecurity conditions.
