Outbreak of avian influenza in the United States

Effective from 19 January 2016

Following a recent outbreak of highly pathogenic avian influenza the United States of America has been added to the Countries with Highly Pathogenic Avian Influenza (HPAI) list for the importation of biological products.

This Alert applies to the following Cases:

Feathers
Bait and lures for aquatic use
Animal fluids and tissues (excluding reproductive material)
