Notification to staff and importers on changes to Daucus carota (Carrot seeds)
Effective from 1 November 2015Daucus carota (Carrot seed) imported for sowing purposes and the requirement for an Import Permit.
Effective 2 January 2015, all carrot seed imported into Australia requires an Import Permit. This applies to consignments that have landed or are in-transit to Australia.
Permit applications maybe lodged through the Departments BICON system. Please note, Carrot seed permits are classified as a Category 1 permit assessment.
