Removal of Bayer Crop Science (Netherlands) from department list of approved seed laboratories
Effective from 22 February 2024The purpose of this notification is to advise stakeholders of an update to the department’s webpage for department approved seed purity testing laboratory.
Naktuinbouw Authorized Laboratories (NAL), Bayer Crop Science (Netherlands) has been removed from the list of department approved seed purity testing laboratories, following advice that this laboratory no longer offers purity testing as a service.
Effective immediately, NAL purity certificates issued by this laboratory will not be accepted for seed consignments imported to Australia.
Who does this alert affect:
Importers (and their customs brokers) of seed for sowing and human consumption, Client Contact Group and Pathway Operations Cargo Inspections.
