Notification to staff and importers on changes to Daucus carota (Carrot seeds)
Effective from 19 September 2015Daucus carota (Carrot seed) imported for sowing purposes and the requirement for an Import Permit.
Effective 2 January 2015, all carrot seed imported into Australia requires an Import Permit. This applies to consignments that have landed or are in-transit to Australia.
Permit applications maybe lodged through the Departments BICON system. Please note, Carrot seed permits are classified as a Category 1 permit assessment.
