Revised implementation date: removal of phytosanitary certificate requirement for medicinal cannabis
Effective from 11 January 2023The purpose of this notification is to advise stakeholders that the changes due to be implemented on Friday 13 January 2023 have been delayed. These changes are now expected to be implemented in early February 2023.
All proposed changes remain in line with the advice provided in the previous alert issued on 15 December 2022.
Who does this affect:
Importers (and their customs brokers) of TGA approved medicinal cannabis plant parts other than seed products and department staff.
