Import conditions for fresh jackfruit segments grown in Malaysia to be updated on 1 July 2022

Effective from 15 June 2022

The department will publish updated import conditions for fresh jackfruit segments grown in Malaysia on 1 July 2022. Fruit rot disease (Dickeya fangzhongdai) will be removed from the additional declaration that is required on phytosanitary certificates.

Import permits will be varied to include the updated statement. No additional costs will be associated.

Importers of fresh jackfruit segments from Malaysia, brokers and Pathway Operations Cargo – Assessment and Inspection.
