Upcoming changes to conditions for fresh lychee from China to be published by 30/06/2022

Effective from 15 June 2022

The department will publish updated import conditions for fresh lychee fruit from China by 30/06/2022. The department will remove the requirement for orchard control on both pre-shipment and in transit cold disinfestation treatment pathways. The longer cold treatment schedule USDA T107-h mandated for C. sinensis makes orchard control a redundant measure.
