In response to the import conditions review, the department will update the import conditions for fresh mangos for human consumption.

The import conditions will apply to whole fresh mango, including the entire mango fruit including the skin, pulp, stone and up to 3cm mango stalk.

The import conditions are being developed to appear consistent across all pathways for fresh mango fruit.

Please note that no import requirements will be changed, however there will been some changes to the pest mitigation tables for some countries.

Who does this alert affect:
This notice affects importers of fresh mango for human consumption from all countries, brokers and Pathway Operations Cargo - Assessment.
