New approved ISTA laboratory for seed purity analysis – AGROLAB LUFA GmbH
Effective from 26 February 2022The department has approved a new laboratory to perform seed purity analysis on seed being imported into Australia. The list of department approved seed testing laboratories has been updated to include the following laboratory:

Import permits
Seed species that require an import permit:
- Existing import permits will not be varied to include the new laboratory, unless specifically requested by an import permit holder.
- All new permits will be issued with the new laboratory included.
Seed species that do not require an import permit:
- Certificates issued by the above laboratory will be accepted by the department immediately.

Importers of seed for sowing, importers of seed for human consumption, their brokers, Client Contact Group and Pathway Operations Cargo - Inspections.
