Update to list of overseas authorities for importing aquatic animals
Effective from 16 June 2021The department has made administrative changes to the approved overseas authority for aquatic animals exported from Ecuador as a result of discussions between both countries government agencies.
Who does this alert affect:
All importers and assessing officers of aquatic goods.

This Alert applies to the following Cases:
- Finfish (excluding Salmonid) for human consumption
- Bony fish and cephalopods for bait or fish food
- Seafood (excluding finfish) for human consumption
- Aquaculture feed and aquatic meals
- Fish viscera and fish oil for human consumption
- Prawns
