Effective from 22 May 2020The department has updated BICON to include conditions for products containing highly processed seafood based flavouring.
Who does this notice affect:
All importers and assessing officers of products containing seafood based flavours.

This Alert applies to the following Cases:
- Cnidarians, echinoderms, tunicates, poriferans, sipuncula and palolo worms
- Prawns
- Finfish (excluding Salmonid) for human consumption
- Seafood (excluding finfish) for human consumption
- Snails for human consumption
