Truffles for human consumption

Effective from 31 January 2020

From 1 March 2020, Dried truffles imported on commercial pathways will require documentary evidence that the truffles are dried.

This is in addition to the current requirement for the scientific name of the dried truffles.

Dried truffles imported for personal use will continue to be inspected to ensure they are dried and comply with import conditions.
