Additional variety of table grape 'Kyoho' eligble for import from the Republic of Korea

Effective from 21 January 2019

The import conditions have been streamlined and the new variety ‘Kyoho’ has now been added to the case.

“Present all documents” directions have been added to all approved modes of arrival.

Who does this alert affect:

Regional officers, importers, and custom brokers dealing with imported fresh grapes from Republic of Korea.

Background:

Korea and Australia trade discussions resulted in an additional variety of table grape to be eligible for import into Australia under the current agreed measures for the 'Early Campbell' variety.
