Treatment for non-commercially packaged dried citrus fruit imported as passenger baggage/mail

Effective from 2 August 2019

The department has applied mandatory heat treatment for non-commercially packaged dried citrus fruit imported as passenger baggage or mail.

All non-commercially packaged dried citrus fruit imported as passenger baggage or mail must be treated at the importer’s expense. Untreated dried citrus fruit must be either disposed of or exported.
