Case Overview

This case describes the requirements for the importation of cooked biscuits, breads and cakes for human consumption only.

For the import of mooncakes, please refer to the BICON case Egg products.

For the import of dairy puddings or uncooked slices, please refer to the relevant BICON cases as necessary e.g. Dairy products for human consumption or Egg products.

Plant derived material which have been baked with these goods (e.g. vegetables, seeds and nuts) are of no biosecurity concern. Unbaked plant material must meet the requirements of the relevant BICON case.
