Case Overview

This case describes the requirements for the importation of salmonid fish for human consumption only. This includes all ‘atlantic’ (Salmo spp.) and ‘pacific’ (Oncorhynchus spp.) species of salmon and trout. A full list of species is contained within the case.

Please note that this case only applies to the salmonid component of composite products. If you are importing a composite product, you must search BICON for each individual ingredient to determine the conditions and apply for an import permit via the ‘other’ pathway within this case.
