Case Description

This case describes the requirements for the importation of finfish, excluding finfish from the family Salmonidae and genus Plecoglossus. Goods covered by this case include whole fish, gilled or gutted fish, fish fillets, consumer ready fish products, fish caviar, fish roe, fish viscera, fish maw, and fish sauce. Fish may be imported for the end uses specified by the import requirements, including for human consumption.

Please note that this case only applies to the finfish component of composite products. If you are importing a composite product, you must search BICON for each individual ingredient to determine the conditions that apply.
