Case Description

This case describes the requirements for the importation of bovine embryos for artificial reproductive purposes. Donor species are limited to Bos taurus or Bos indicus.

All approved countries can import in vivo derived embryos. In vitro derived bovine embryos can currently only be imported from Canada, New Zealand and the United States of America.

This case applies to imports into: Australia.
