This case also includes permitted and restricted medicinal species used in tablets, capsules, liquid, injectable vials, ointments or as an ingredient in food or beverages (including tea bags). This case describes the requirements for the importation of dried or freeze-dried fruit and applies to a range of fruit. Importation is permitted for human consumption and all end uses other than as animal foods, fertilisers or for growing purposes. Processed banana for human consumption

The case describes the requirements for the importation of processed banana and banana products for the purposes of human consumption and processing. This case includes banana and banana products that have been dried, boiled, cooked, fried or baked, banana flowers, frozen leaves or frozen products containing banana leaves, extracts or highly processed goods and banana flavours.

Dried herb products not for human consumption

This case describes the requirements for the importation of dried herb products. Importation is permitted for all end uses other than for human consumption, animal foods, fertilisers or growing purposes. Products may contain ingredients such as leaves, flowers, stems, roots, gums, milled seed, resins, rhizomes, spices and crushed nut shells. These must be thoroughly dried, broken into small pieces and not capable of propagation. The case does not apply to unmilled seeds, fruit or bark. Dried herbs for human consumption Alerts

This case describes the requirements for the importation of dried herbs. Importation is permitted for human consumption and human therapeutics. This includes pods without seeds, citrus peel, leaves, flowers, stems, roots, gums, resins, rhizomes, spices and crushed nut shells that are thoroughly dried and not capable of propagation.
