This case describes the requirements for the importation of cane and rattan articles that are made from the genus Calamus or allied genera. If cane or rattan articles contain other plant material such as bamboo or solid wood refer to the relevant component case. Cane and rattan articles must be free from green/viable plant material.

Dried herb products not for human consumption

This case describes the requirements for the importation of dried herb products. Importation is permitted for all end uses other than for human consumption, animal foods, fertilisers, growing purposes, bioremediation and veterinary therapeutic use. Products may be individual leaves (not bunches of leaves attached to the stem/branch/vine), flowers (not on stems), stems, roots, gums, resins, rhizomes, spices and crushed nut shells. These must be thoroughly dried, broken into small pieces and not capable of propagation. This case does not apply to, fruit or bark.
