This case describes the requirements to import goods for veterinary therapeutic use (including vaccines, therapeutic products, medicines, and products for use in assisted reproductive technologies). This case describes the requirements for the importation of stockfeed products to be fed to stock animals including ruminants, poultry, pigs, horses, aquatic animals and bees. These products may contain ingredients of animal, microbial, plant, macroalgae, microalgae and/or mineral origin. This case should also be used for silage inoculants and for samples of plant-based stockfeed being imported for laboratory analysis. This includes pods without seeds, citrus peel, leaves, flowers, stems, roots, gums, resins, rhizomes, spices and crushed nut shells that are thoroughly dried and not capable of propagation. This case describes the requirements for the importation of dried herb products. Importation is permitted for all end uses other than for human consumption, animal foods, fertilisers or growing purposes. Products may contain ingredients such as leaves, flowers (not whole), stems, roots, gums, milled seed, resins, rhizomes, spices and crushed nut shells. These must be thoroughly dried, broken into small pieces and not capable of propagation. The case does not apply to unmilled seeds, fruit or bark.
