Fish viscera and fish oil for human consumption

This case describes the requirements for the importation of fish viscera and fish oil for human consumption only, including fish maw. Fish maw is the swim bladder, gas bladder or air bladder of a fish which has undergone a drying stage. Fish viscera includes all other internal organs of the fish as well as swim bladders that have not been dried. This case describes the requirements for the importation of animal and human specimens that are preserved or fixed, for end uses other than fertiliser, animal feed or growing purposes. This may include specimens such as phytoplankton, zooplankton, preserved or fixed insects and arachnids, dead or preserved bees and preserved or fixed animal or human specimens, including specimens in resin.
