This case describes the requirements for the importation of noodles for human consumption only. This case may include items such as pasta, spaghetti, egg noodles, commercially packaged noodles or instant noodles. Please note that this case applies to noodles derived from plant material only and noodles containing egg. If you are importing a composite product that includes ingredients other than egg, you must search BICON for each individual ingredient to determine the conditions that apply. For food products including pasta and noodles containing equal to or greater than 10% egg (excluding meat) refer to the BICON case Egg and egg products for human consumption. This case describes the requirements for the importation of dried herb products. Importation is permitted for all end uses other than for human consumption, animal foods, fertilisers or growing purposes. Products may contain ingredients such as leaves, flowers, stems, roots, gums, milled seed, resins, rhizomes, spices and crushed nut shells. These must be thoroughly dried, broken into small pieces and not capable of propagation. The case does not apply to unmilled seeds, fruit or bark.
