This case describes the requirements for the importation of sawdust and woodchips. Sawdust products include, but are not limited to, products and products containing chunks and bits of wood, wood chips, sawdust or wood powder, wood shavings, wine making oak alternatives (excluding barrels, staves and headboards). Sphagnum moss

This case describes the requirements for the importation of sphagnum moss for all uses other than animal foods, fertilisers or for growing purposes. Sphagnum moss is dried plant material used in the floral industry and nurseries to make wreaths, basket liners, water retention matting or for use in seed raising mixes. Sphagnum liquid waste absorbent is used for the cleanup of hazardous waste. The product consists of processed and dehydrated sphagnum moss that is often imported bagged, baled or as booms.

Noodles

This case describes the requirements for the importation of noodles for human consumption only. This case may include items such as pasta, spaghetti, noodles, commercially packaged noodles or instant noodles. Please note that this case applies to noodles derived from plant material only and noodles containing egg. If you are importing a composite product that includes ingredients other than egg, you must search BICON for each individual ingredient to determine the conditions that apply. For food products including pasta and noodles containing equal to or greater than 10% egg (excluding meat) refer to the BICON case Egg and egg products for human consumption. Catgut derived from animal intestines

This case describes the requirements for the importation of products derived from animal intestines. This includes catgut for use in musical instruments and sporting equipment. This case also includes suture material for human therapeutic use only. This case describes the requirements for the importation of microorganisms and infectious agents for in vitro use or in vivo use in laboratory organisms. Note that import conditions in this case are also applicable to primary derivatives e.g. antigens, proteins, genetic material. Secondary derivatives e.g. antibodies, are not permitted under these import conditions.
