The goods must be commercially prepared and packaged. Maize grits or broken corn may range in size from granules less than 3mm or degermed kernels or granules greater than 3mm, but less than full kernels. Highly processed maize product such as corn flour should be assessed under Processed grain and seed products for human consumption. Corn cob articles being imported not for human consumption should be assessed under the Permitted plant fibres BICON case.
