This case describes the requirements for the importation of salmonid fish for human consumption only. This includes all ‘atlantic’ (Salmo spp.) and ‘pacific’ (Oncorhynchus spp.) species of salmon and trout. If you are importing a composite product, you must search BICON for each individual ingredient to determine the conditions and apply for an import permit via the ‘other’ pathway within this case.
