This case describes the requirements for the importation of fish viscera and fish oil for human consumption only, including fish maw. Fish maw is the swim bladder, gas bladder or air bladder of a fish which has undergone a drying stage. Fish viscera includes all other internal organs of the fish as well as swim bladders that have not been dried. This case does not apply to animal based flavours or floss derived from fish (including both teleost and cartilaginous fish), crustaceans (including prawns), molluscs and aquatic animals.
