Dried herb products not for human consumption Alerts

This case describes the requirements for the importation of dried herb products. Importation is permitted for all end uses other than for human consumption, animal foods, fertilisers, growing purposes, bioremediation and veterinary therapeutic use. Products may be individual leaves (not bunches of leaves attached to the stem/branch/vine), flowers (not on stems), stems, roots, gums, resins, rhizomes, spices and crushed nut shells. These must be thoroughly dried, broken into small pieces and not capable of propagation. This case does not apply to, fruit or bark. Dried herbs for human consumption Alerts

This case describes the requirements for the importation of dried herbs. Importation is permitted for human consumption and human therapeutics. This includes pods without seeds, citrus peel, leaves, flowers, stems, roots, gums, resins, rhizomes, spices and crushed nut shells that are thoroughly dried and not capable of propagation. Processed and dried hops for human consumption and processing

This case describes the requirements for the importation of processed hops, dried hops for human consumption or hops intended for processing such as alcohol production. Hops are the female flower clusters of the species Humulus lupulus. Processed hops may come in the form of hop pellets or hop extracts, whereas unprocessed hops or dried hops may come in the form of hop cones or hop plugs.
