This case describes the requirements for the importation of stockfeed products to be fed to stock animals including ruminants, poultry, pigs, horses, aquatic animals and bees. These products may contain ingredients of animal, microbial, plant, macroalgae, microalgae and/or mineral origin. This case should also be used for silage inoculants and for samples of plant-based stockfeed being imported for laboratory analysis. This includes pods without seeds, citrus peel, leaves, flowers, stems, roots, gums, resins, rhizomes, spices and crushed nut shells that are thoroughly dried and not capable of propagation. Dried herb products not for human consumption Alerts

This case describes the requirements for the importation of dried herb products. Importation is permitted for all end uses other than for human consumption, animal foods, fertilisers, growing purposes, bioremediation and veterinary therapeutic use. Products may be individual leaves (not bunches of leaves attached to the stem/branch/vine), flowers (not on stems), stems, roots, gums, resins, rhizomes, spices and crushed nut shells. These must be thoroughly dried, broken into small pieces and not capable of propagation. This case does not apply to, fruit or bark.
