This case describes the requirements for the importation of cosmetics. A cosmetic is a substance or preparation that is for use on any external part of the body or inside the mouth to change its appearance, cleanse it, keep it in good condition, perfume it or protect it. Cosmetics include soap, shampoo, moisturiser, hair dye, perfume, lipstick, mascara, nail polish, deodorant and many other products.

Dairy may include products such as cheese, butter, milk based infant formula, chocolate, lactose and its derivatives, clarified butter oil, ghee, milk products, colostrum, yoghurt, ice cream, cream, milk protein, casein and whey. Stockfeed, stockfeed ingredients and stockfeed additives

Effective 13 April 2024 to present

This case describes the requirements for the importation of stockfeed products to be fed to stock animals including ruminants, poultry, pigs, horses, aquatic animals and bees. These products may contain ingredients of animal, microbial, plant, macroalgae, microalgae and/or mineral origin. This case should also be used for silage inoculants and for samples of plant-based stockfeed being imported for laboratory analysis. For products that are also used as veterinary therapeutics (e.g. antibiotics) please also consult the case for Veterinary therapeutics and veterinary therapeutic ingredients. This case describes the requirements for the importation of highly refined organic chemicals and substances for all uses other than for animal consumption, for environmental purposes (including bioremediation products or fertiliser), or for veterinary therapeutic use. This case includes items such as acetone, alcohols, amino acids, varnish, sulphur compounds, dyes, or paraffin, vitamins and organic acids (e.g. citric acid, fatty acids).
