Dried or preserved flowers and foliage

This case describes the requirements for the importation of whole dried or preserved flowers and foliage (including moss) for end uses other than human consumption, animal consumption, veterinary therapeutics, growing purposes, fertilisers or bioremediation. Maize for human consumption or processing

Effective 5 April 2024 to present

This case describes the requirements for import of bagged and containerised whole raw maize kernels, corn seeds, maize grits, broken corn and degermed maize kernels for human consumption or further processing into either food such as popped corns or for alcohol production. The goods must be commercially prepared and packaged. Maize grits or broken corn may range in size from granules less than 3mm or degermed kernels or granules greater than 3mm, but less than full kernels. Highly processed maize product such as corn flour should be assessed under Processed grain and seed products for human consumption. Corn cob articles being imported not for human consumption should be assessed under the Permitted plant fibres BICON case.

Millet for human consumption

This case describes the requirements for the importation of whole and raw millet seed (Panicum spp., Pennisetum spp. and Setaria spp.) for human consumption. Stockfeed, stockfeed ingredients and stockfeed additives

This case describes the requirements for the importation of stockfeed products to be fed to stock animals including ruminants, poultry, pigs, horses, aquatic animals and bees. These products may contain ingredients of animal, microbial, plant, macroalgae, microalgae and/or mineral origin. This case should also be used for silage inoculants and for samples of plant-based stockfeed being imported for laboratory analysis.
