Oak barrels and chestnut bark hoops

This case describes the importation requirements for barrels, staves, tanks, vats and headboards made from oak (Quercus spp.) and chestnut bark hoops. Chestnut bark hoops are made from chestnut wood (Castanea spp.) with bark adhering to the wood and are used in the wine industry as a decorative feature on wine barrels.

Dried herbs for human consumption

This case describes the requirements for the importation of dried herbs. Importation is permitted for human consumption and human therapeutics. This includes pods without seeds, citrus peel, leaves, flowers, stems, roots, gums, resins, rhizomes, spices and crushed nut shells that are thoroughly dried and not capable of propagation. Dried herb products not for human consumption

This case describes the requirements for the importation of dried herb products. Importation is permitted for all end uses other than for human consumption, animal foods, fertilisers, growing purposes, bioremediation and veterinary therapeutic use. Products may be individual leaves (not bunches of leaves attached to the stem/branch/vine), flowers (not on stems), stems, roots, gums, resins, rhizomes, spices and crushed nut shells. These must be thoroughly dried, broken into small pieces and not capable of propagation. This case does not apply to, fruit or bark. This case describes the requirements for the importation of noodles for human consumption only. This case may include items such as pasta, spaghetti, noodles, commercially packaged noodles or instant noodles. Please note that this case applies to noodles derived from plant material only and noodles containing egg. If you are importing a composite product that includes ingredients other than egg, you must search BICON for each individual ingredient to determine the conditions that apply.
