Biodegradable plant products must be manufactured in a way that will reduce the biosecurity risk or be subject to mandatory treatment.These conditions do not apply to urns made from bioplastics such as starch derivatives or cellulose.

Powdered plant products consist of dried and ground or granulated plant parts (including fruits, herbs, bark and roots). Human consumption includes uses such as food, supplements, complementary medicines, cosmetics or smoking. Timber and timber products Changes

Effective 18 April 2024 to 19 April 2024

This case includes import conditions for sawn timber and timber products and manufactured wooden articles. Examples include sawn timber, structural timber, furniture, household wooden items, stationery, musical instruments and sporting equipment. Import conditions in this case only cater for timber where individual pieces have at least one dimension less than or equal to 200mm.
