Import Conditions

Import conditions define the biosecurity requirements which must be met for your import. Where import conditions have been developed, they will be listed below.

  1. The Department of Agriculture and Water Resources is currently undertaking a pest risk assessment to determine the import conditions appropriate for this commodity.

    Until the assessment is completed, all imports of Cannabis spp. as nursery stock are not permitted entry into Australia.

    Import permit applications will not be accepted until import conditions are established and published in BICON.
