Onshore Outcomes

  1. Present all documentation

    The importer or nominated agent must present all required documentation to the Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry as part of the import procedure.

  2. Inspection

    The goods must be unpacked from the container and inspected by a biosecurity officer at the designated approved arrangement site (AA site).

    2.2 - Agricultural Products Premises
  3. Treatment

    The goods require treatment with hot air at no less than 85°C for at least 8 hours once the core temperature has been reached.

  4. Warnings and Information Notices
    Warning

    Caution: Products may smoulder or ignite with this treatment.

  5. Release

    The department will release the goods once all of the biosecurity requirements have been met.
