Onshore Outcomes

  1. Inspection

    The goods are subject to an inspection by a Biosecurity officer.

  2. Mandatory treatment

    The goods require mandatory treatment with either:

    1. Heat treatment at 85ºC for 8 hours, or

    2. Ethylene oxide fumigation under initial minimum vacuum of 50 kilopascals at 1200 g/m³ for 5 hours at 50°C; or 1500 g/m³ for 24 hours at 21°C.

  3. Release

    The Department of Agriculture will release the goods once all of the biosecurity requirements have been met.
